Helping Hands is a medically based adult day services program for seniors. It began as the dream of Randy and Barbara Wright to birth a unique place for this wonderful group of people. A wonderful place they could go to socialize, play, receive nursing support, and be recognized as and stimulated.
Helping Hand’s mission was founded on the belief of treating your loved ones with respect and care while providing them with a place where they can socialize, make new friends, and just have an all around wonderful time while being taken care of. We believe that a healthy and welcoming environment can make all the difference in someone’s care as well as their quality of life and we want to be the people to provide that environment for your loved ones!
From the moment you walk into our facility, you feel surrounded by love, care, and happiness. That is because it has been purposely designed to be that way. From the wallpaper and comfortable furniture to the canopy of seasonally colored balloons that hang from the ceiling in abundance our staff strive to provide a homelike place that is stimulating and fun while accommodating independence and easy socialization.
The moment one of our friendly drivers picks our participants up in the morning till they are delivered back to your door in the afternoon their day is filled with love, structure, and fun. The fun is what they come for, but what you get as a caregiver is so much more! Peace of mind! Knowing that your loved one is safe and professionally cared for gives you a day free of worry to work, run errands, or just rest and rejuvenate yourself. The menu of services Helping Hands offers affords wonderful care.
The dining area in the activity room serves a dual purpose of a lunch and snack place as well as tables for arts and crafts, puzzles and games, or often just a place to hang out with your friends. Lunch is served from our kitchen through a convenient window into the dining area.
There are several day beds and recliners in the activity area for the comfort of participants who need a break from their wheelchairs during the day. And bedroom areas for privacy in taking care of personal or medical needs during the day.
We hope you will give us a call and drop by to see for yourself. Helping Hands is a beautiful place filled with beautiful people, we think you will agree.
